 
The City of Columbia Heights is located north of the Minneapolis metropolitan area metro in east central Minnesota. Located in the very southern portion of Anoka County residents of Columbia Heights have easy access to both Minneapolis and St. Paul as well as the other suburbs via the interstate freeway system. Columbia Heights City Hall is located at 590 40th Ave NE, Columbia Heights, MN 55421.
From Interstate 694, exit south onto Central Avenue and follow Central Ave to 40th Avenue, turn right (west) onto 40th Ave and City Hall is just seven short blocks away. Parking is available behind the building and on the street. Police and Fire departments are located in this same building.
The Columbia Heights City Library at 820 40th Ave NE and is affiliated with other libraries in the metropolitan area and patrons share all library privileges.
The Recreation Department is located in Murzyn Hall, at 530 Mill Street, just across the street from City Hall and facing Mill Street. Murzyn Hall is also a rental facility for banquets, weddings and other gatherings. Meeting rooms are also available.
The Municipal Service Center and Public Works garage is at 637 38th Ave NE, just south of Huset Park. |
