New Electronics Curbside Recycling
Beginning September 9, 2014 Columbia Heights residents will be able to dispose of electronics on the curb for a flat $5 collection charge.  Thanks to additional recycling grant money from Anoka County, the City of Columbia Heights will be able to subsidize the curbside collection cost for residents.  Collections will take place the second Tuesday of each month.  To schedule a pick up call the recycling contractor, Advanced Disposal, at 763-225-8705.  The flat $5 collection charge covers an unlimited number of electronic items per stop.

Appliances are collected curbside as part of the recycling program. Each residential unit is allowed one appliance disposal per year at no charge. There is a charge for disposal of additional appliances by the City contractor. It is necessary to call and request this service directly from Advanced Disposal Services at (763) 225-8705.
