The library needs you! Library volunteers provide a number of services:
  • Help host library programs
  • Maintain the collection, building, and equipment
  • Process donated items
  • Prepare materials for the sale cart

Teens
Teen Volunteer Application 2013
During the summer months, the library utilizes teen volunteers to aid in the registration of 800 to 1000 children in library-sponsored summer reading programs. Teen volunteers are also asked to:
  • Act as event hosts
  • Aid in maintaining the physical condition of library materials
  • Aid in story time
  • Help prepare book lists
  • Mentor children in reading

The volunteer program is for ages 13-17 and spans the
summer months from June through August.
